HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SWG DIVISION


Last month marked the one year anniversary of the reactivation of the SWG Division.
I sit back and think a year ago, Troopre and I were the only active SR members in SWG. We talked on many occasions about the old days and how great it would be to get SR up and running again. The problem was everything that had to be done and where to even begin. It takes a lot to try and restart a guild after all that brought the Division to where it was.

Then out of the blue it just happened. A few players joined us unexpectedly. Looking back now, everything just seemed to fall into place. I am not saying it was easy in any way. Through all the hard work of every SR member we grew to what we have become today.


The SWG Division has had its good and bad moments. At one point we were running with 40 plus members. Then quite a few members dropped out of game. Around this time the SR Council as formed, to better manage the players, events and things going on IG.
There was some friction between SR and other guilds, but we worked through it to come out on top.

Now the SWG Division is currently running with approximately 20 members. These members, I can honestly say, are all mature, honest and hard working members in the guild. They all work hand in hand to achieve any task or goal, always helping each other out to better themselves and the guild.

Through everyone’s hard work and time put it, the Division has gone from a nonexistent guild to one of the largest guilds on StarSider. Not many can say they hold two large cities with shuttle ports. SR holds weekly events to help all Imperials on the server with their GCW needs. We have now conquered all of the new, extremely hard, instances put out by SOE. The Tusken King, IG88, Nightsister, ISD and now Exar Kun. Every day were growing better and stronger as a guild.

None of this could have happened without the hard work of every single member. This is by far the most mature, respectful, giving, group of people I have ever met. We are more than a guild, we are a family. I have said it before as I do now, you guys are truly the greatest, and it is an honor to lead you. It has been a great year for us, and its going to keep getting better.

With the latest Chapter release in SWG, EXAR KUN has made his way back into the galaxy. He is reeking havoc, and must be conquered at all cost. This is by far the hardest challenge to face the players of SWG to date. Only those strong enough, with the right knowledge will come out victorious.

Treason continues their crusade to conquer end game content in World of Warcraft's TBC.

As we entered The Eye last night there was an electrifying air to the place. I personally was a bit doubtful that we would prevail over such a foe as High Astromancer Solarian with the raid group we were able to put together for the evening. We went through all of her guards with ease and in no time were face to face with Solarian herself. On our first attempt we took her to 50%. At that time I knew we had what it would take to lay her down for good. After a couple more learning attempts and on our last possible attempt due to respawns and time constraints we all pulled together to do just that!!

Great job on the progression everyone and congratulations to all that received loot from the encounter.

Everyone please welcome all of our friends from Horizon. After several weeks of working together we decided to join forces and become one larger, stronger guild. They have brought the missing pieces Treason has been looking for the past few months to progress in end game raiding. This merging should strengthen us in many ways. Not only will we have much more communication but more members online willing to run Heroics/Karazhan etc. This should help some of our more casual players get geared and be possible substitutes in our progression raiding. Once again welcome to you all I hope you find Treason/Sinister Gaming Clan to be as welcoming and friendly as I have for the last several years. Lets keep up the success and see all the end game content!!!
